"And to think that I saw it off Millbury Street!"
Last week's post mentioned Sinclair Lewis' reference to Worcester in one of his novels. In a cartoon from 2002, Laurel tells all below:
Began to eat in Worcester, 1957. Allegedly grew up on South Ludlow St. Alumnus of dubious standing: Heard St. School, Worcester Alternative High School, UMass-Amherst (wrote senior thesis on KRAZY KAT). Cartoons have appeared in CLASSIC IMAGES, WORCESTER MAGAZINE, MOTHERTOWN, WORCESTER TELEGRAM & GAZETTE, INCITY TIMES. Married to Bernadette since 1989, a testament to her sense of humor, and daddy to honorary kids Eric John Yankus-Franco and Jessica-Lee Van Winkle, and to pen-and-ink daughter Laurel Angela Tilbury.
