Happy Halloween!

Our gal Laurel and her auntie swoop the scene over Tadcaster Place in the latest Worcester TelegramTowns. Have a spooky!

  1. I follow Laurel because she helps us not take ourselves too seriously in the Big Woo.

I particularly liked this Thursday's "X-Ray Spec" cartoon since it gave free pr to the youth classes here at the Worcester Art Museum. THANKS so much. Did you ever take classes here? Are Mr. Holloway and Ms. Berre real people?

  2. Hi and thanks so much for your kind comments!

I have taken several drawing classes at WAM, including Lennie Peterson's cartooning workshop 10 years ago, which gave me a much-needed boost into publishing my cartoons (thanks again, Lennie!). Andy Fish, besides being an ace artist and stand-up guy, taught pen-and-ink, cartooning and perspective classes that helped me immeasurably, so much so I've recommended him highly to all aspiring cartoonists. And yes, Mr. Holloway and Ms. Berre are quite real and most forgiving of my renderings of them--whew!
    Thanks and bestest,
    Brian Nelson
