Happy Fourth of July!

In the weekend Telegram & Gazette, our girl Laurel is drawn to the light during the Independence Day celebration July 2 in Worcester. This cartoon originally appeared in 2003 in the former InCity Times, was repurposed in 2013 for the T&G's TelegramTowns weekly and now sports Sunday colors for the weekend edition. Of the 1,000-plus cartoons starring our girl since her debut on April 19, 2002, in ICT, this particularly captures just who she is and remains my favorite. Happy Fourth, everybody!
